Tricia Page is an Australian Visual Artist based in regional Victoria whose sculptural practice is informed by facets of the human condition and its capacity to endure. Page takes on a heuristic approach to idea development, incorporating objects and materials that endure harsh conditions and require prolonged physical processes to cut bend and hold them in place. Extensive solo cycle touring through the cultural landscapes of Scandinavia, Iceland, South East Asia, and Australia has had significant influence on her practice, enhancing an affinity for steel grid structures, powerlines and playgrounds along roadsides.
Page has been a recipient of the Australia Council Artstart grant, RMIT Honours travelling scholarship, Craft Victoria Fresh screaming pixel apart, Regional Arts Victoria Artlands travel grant. Currently designing jewellery for Tilt Studio and planning to cycle through Japan in 2019.
