Slump, 2014

C3 Artspace, Abbotsford.

Slump is a place for the limp and forlorn, an encapsulation of weight that cohabitates with the human condition. Emotional furniture that is neither durable nor functional, embedded with ideas of the body in a format that is both quizzical and earnest. Psychologically loaded, Slump has no interest in presenting a literal description of what and why, but suggests that the viewer find their own way through the nostalgic triggers of the familiar and unknown.
